Awesome theater but the concession stand is so expensive. It cost more for popcorn and a drink the the movie tickets.

Two movies for the price of one

August 23, 2017

Went to a late showing of Annabelle an they played a movie in the theater next door. That movie was so loud I heard more of that movie than I did of Annabelle. Not worth the 20 dollars I paid, since it ruined the experience of a scary movie.

Age Restricted Movies and Teens

March 21, 2017

We saw the movie Get Out on March 18th. The movie is rated R. The show time was 10:15pm. Somehow a group of loud inconsiderate teens (6) were allowed in. After 10 minutes of these idiots talking and kicking my seat I told management. The theatre manager warned the group and went away. The manager returned with two officers after they saw one of the teens use her phone. The officers took three out after a discussion about going to jail. Things were quiet for a little while then one of the teens returned and started talking about what just happened. Still the problem was not resolved. After the movie ended the teens decide to wait at the steps to follow us out. How do I know the were waiting? They said they were going to. A group of teenage girls were trying to intimidate two adults. So they followed us to the main exit. This is a situation that could have gotten out of control real fast. I would suggest this theatre stop chasing dollars and card for age appropriate movies....if the parents are not with them do not allow underage teens to see the movie.

Best in town!

March 10, 2017

Amstar is the best theater in town. They make fresh popcorn daily, the customer service is great, the theaters play crisp surround sound and picture quality. The overall experience is quite pleasant.
