In the official trailer for Bazodee, an Indian woman named Anita steps off a plane in Trinidad and walks towards a man playing a banjo. He is softly singing a tune that she recognizes, so she enthusiastically joins him. At the end of their melody, she says, "I love that song!" He laughs and informs her that he wrote it.
As the trailer continues, we learn about Anita. She is engaged to a wealthy Londoner and preparing for her wedding in Trinidad. But things go awry when she falls for the local musician she met earlier. He captures her heart with the power of music and the pair embark on a journey of love, dancing and singing at Carnival and expressing their true selves.
