When Hollywood’s beloved class clown Candy Black (Drew Barrymore) is sentenced to 90 days in rehab, she asks her stand-in, Paula (Drew Barrymore), to go in her place, because she looks almost exactly like her. As time passes, Paula volunteers to take care of more of Candy's responsibilities, standing in for her on talk shows and movies, fooling the public into believing that not only has the comedian had a successful rehabilitation, but that she is also the real Candy.
