In the trailer for Burden, we see black Americans going to church and learning about love from Reverend David Kennedy (Forest Whitaker). Meanwhile, the Klu Klux Klan, including Mike Burden (Garrett Hedlund) and Klan leader Tom Griffin (Tom Wilkinson), spread hate, even going so far as to open The Redneck KKK Museum. However, when Mike falls on hard times, David takes him in, despite the objections of his family.
