Molly (Mila Kunis) is struggling with her heroin addiction, even risking losing custody of her children just to get high. With the help of her mom Deb (Glenn Close), Molly looks to overcome her addiction by getting monthly injections of opioid antagonists, essentially making her immune to getting high. Although, in order to start receiving injections, Molly must remain sober for at least four more days. Over the next few days, not only is Molly's willpower tested, but her relationship with Deb, as her drug addiction has become incredibly difficult for her mother to deal with.
