Detective Dan Sommerdahl (Peter Mygind) is called to investigate the circumstances behind a young woman's death. At first it is believed to be suicide, but the evidence clearly shows it's a homicide. As Sommerdahl continues to investigate other murders around town, his relationship with his wife Marianna (Laura Drasbæk) starts to suffer.
