Noel Fisher

Date of Birth: March 13, 1984

Born in Vancouver, British Columbia, Noel Roelm Fisher says his parents “did me a huge favor by putting me in different types of classes growing up.” He trained in piano, dance, art and even did some circus training.

Some of Noel’s hobbies and favorite past times include camping, going to the beach, and watching a good movie while eating frozen yogurt. An avid animal lover, he supports The Humane Society of the United States, and the Visual Impact Now group in Los Angeles.

At 14 Noel earned a Gemini nomination for his TV movie The Sheldon Kennedy Story (1999) and another nomination for his work on the Canadian series Godiva's, which ran from 2005 to 2006. He met his longtime girlfriend Layla Alizada also while working on the show. They are now engaged.

In 2001, he secured a lead role in the TNBC teen drama Sk8, which only lasted one season. Over the next few years, Noel earned roles in a handful of movies, including Final Destination 2 (2003), Agent Cody Banks (2003), Pope Dreams (2006), and a slew of television shows, such as Two and a Half Men, Cold Case and Medium. He also starred in the drama series The Riches (2007 to 2008) for two seasons before it was cancelled.

Despite many starring roles on many short-lived TV shows, Noel continued his search for more consistent work and found it on the Showtime series Shameless (2011 to 2016). His work as the openly gay character Mickey Milkovich earned the young star a lot of praise from the LGBTQ community and opened up many doors for further acting opportunities. During his five-season stint on Shameless, he landed roles on the Emmy winning miniseries Hatfield & McCoys, the sci- fi thriller Battle Los Angeles (2011), as role as vampire Vladmir in the final installment of the massively popular film franchise, The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2 (2012) and the reboot Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (2014). Nole then reprised his role as Michelangelo in the 2016 sequel Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows.
