Nicole Sullivan grew up in Manhattan. A super achiever, she was senior class president in high school before going on to study drama at Northwestern University, graduating on the Dean's List. After spending some time with the Greenwich Shakespeare Company, she began getting television work, guest-starring on shows such as Herman's Head, Diagnosis Murder, Party of Five, Models Inc. and The Drew Carey Show.
