Loretta Devine Overview

Loretta Devine graduated from the University of Houston in 1971 with a BA in Speech and Drama and Brandeis University in 1976 with a MFA in Theater. She originated role of Lorell in the Broadway stage production of Dreamgirls. Devine also has many TV and feature film credits, including making a cameo in the film version of Dreamgirls.
