Born: July 15, 1944

Date of birth: July 15, 1944

This Denver born, California raised actor has had a long B-grade career. In the '70s, he was a bit of a leading man heartthrob as he typically played a character hard to rile but dangerous when angry.

Later he found work in a long series of forgettable films and TV shows until he was involved in a catastrophic car accident in 1996 from which he barely escaped with his life.

After that accident, he returned to work on TV's Nash Bridges and said, "I've had a nice long rest. Now it's over."
