In the official trailer for the sci-fi drama Equals, people in a community live sterile lives. they dress in white, they are surrounded by white and they are advised not to come into physical contact with anyone else, or show any emotion.
Sometimes people in the community commit suicide by jumping from the top of the building because their lives are so devoid of any kind of feeling. However, when one young man (Nicholas Hoult) is drawn to a young woman (Kristen Stewart), he persists in making a connection with her. They begin a forbidden relationship and finally feel alive, but realize they can't be found out or they'll face severe consequences.
