Jump to a recap of how the film’s 1996 predecessor defined a generation, and we’re back to the present where Renton and Spud (Ewen Bremner) are reunited. Running down the old streets of Scotland, hitting up old clubs and pubs for some pool while seeing old friends, the gang gets back with Sick Boy (Jonny Lee Miller) and back to fighting their 20-year-old demons…as well as each other.
