When given the script for The Impossible, Academy Award nominee Naomi Watts was riveted from the beginning to the end. The film tells the true story of a Spanish couple, played by Naomi and Ewan McGregor, and their three children. It starts as the family begins their Christmas vacation in Thailand with the intention of spending a few days at a tropical resort. However, their idyllic vacation is disrupted when a devastating tsunami hits the coastal zone, separating the family and triggering a frantic search
