He also talks about the first time he met director Clint Eastwood, saying that he and his wife spent three hours with him. Chesley says it was important to Clint that the story of the “Miracle on the Hudson” was told accurately and respectfully, and also opens up about his physical response on the day his plane collided with a flock of geese and plummeted towards the ground.
