Mercedes Sosa: The Voice of Latin America
A portrait of Mercedes Sosa, an Argentine singer popular throughout Latin America. Sosa became one of the eminent exponents of the nueva canción, or new song, movement. She co-authored the Manifesto of the New Song Movement, which has revolutionized the cultural, musical and political sphere of South America.
