Fairly good depiction of what it's like to be a back-up for some of the best and well-known singers/musicians. Sometimes sad as when a back-up singer wanted to make it as a soloist and it didn't happen for her. Others in this doc. were totally fine being back-up singers and didn't want the limelight. Could have been a bit longer and more in depth.

Loved it. Inspirational. I would have to say that Lisa Fisher blew me away completely. Haven't heard of her? Well you should have. I can guaurantee that if you are over the age of 30 you HAVE loved her music but just didn't know it was her you were listening to. A must see for any serious music lover. Enjoy.

If you love Bruce Springsteen, The Rolling Stones, Joe Cocker, Darlene Love, Merry Clayton, Stevie Wonder or music from the 60s and 70s go see this movie. You won't regret it. The vocal talent displayed is often breathtaking and there are interviews with Bruce Springsteen, Stevie Wonder and Mick Jagger including excerpts of some great performances by them and by Joe Cocker and others - backed up, of course, by many of the people featured in this documentary.
